Brown Sugar Coffee Overnight Oats (Printable)

Coffee-infused overnight oats with brown sugar, banana, and toasted nuts — a make-ahead, chilled breakfast.

# What You'll Need:

→ Oats Base

01 - 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
02 - 1 cup milk, dairy or plant-based
03 - 1/2 cup brewed coffee, cooled
04 - 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
05 - 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt, optional
06 - 1 tablespoon chia seeds, optional
07 - 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
08 - Pinch of salt

→ Toppings

09 - 1 small banana, sliced
10 - 2 tablespoons chopped toasted nuts, such as pecans or walnuts
11 - Brown sugar or maple syrup, for serving

# Steps:

01 - In a medium mixing bowl or mason jar, combine rolled oats, milk, cooled brewed coffee, brown sugar, Greek yogurt if using, chia seeds if desired, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir well until thoroughly incorporated.
02 - Cover the bowl or jar and place in the refrigerator. Allow to chill for at least 8 hours or overnight so the oats absorb the liquid and flavors develop.
03 - In the morning, stir the oats mixture thoroughly. If a creamier texture is desired, add an additional splash of milk to reach your preferred consistency.
04 - Portion the oats into serving bowls or jars. Top evenly with sliced banana, chopped toasted nuts, and a sprinkle of brown sugar or a drizzle of maple syrup to taste.
05 - Enjoy chilled.
